The Tarot of the Cat People is an unusual deck, based on a fantasy story in which each suit represents a kingdom and its people. The desk takes you in some sort of parallel dimension called the Outer Regions, home to the Cat People, a race of humans that love, honour and even obey cats.
The Tarot of the Cat People blends tarot symbolism with the imagery of science fiction and fantasy. Each card depicts a full-length portrait of a stunning figure in ornate dress with elaborate jewellery and head-dress. Cats appear everywhere, enhancing the interpretation of the deck.
The symbolism of the cards is similar to the Rider-Waite style, and it is perfectly suitable for beginners as well as advanced readers.
