This Carborundum Cluster it is an excellent decorative piece, its highly reflecting surface shinning to hues of pink, blue, gold, purple and green.

Carborundum does not occur naturally, it is man made from a combination of silica sand and carbon. Often, carborundum is used to produce Moissanite, a low-cost diamond.

The Carborundum Cluster is covered in a myriad of needle points and it is abrasive.

Carborundum Cluster dimensions: 9 cm long, 5 cm deep, 4.5 cm tall.
