These sterling silver Pearl Turquoise Earrings have a vivid colouring due to the properties of the turquoise gemstones. Arranged in two double settings, the tear drop turquoises are 1.3cm long and they are raised 0.5cm above the base setting which is decorated in a double rope design. An eye catching design with a noticeable depth.

Turquoise has been used since ancient times as a talisman for protection. Tibetan shamen believed turquoise to have spiritual and protective energies, and Native American Indians believe it to be both a protective gemstone and a bestower of goodness. In crystal lore, it is believed that when used as a protective talisman, turquoise changes colour to warn of danger.
