The 78 card deck Tarot of The Old Path, was designed with psychic insights and a modern approach to the magickal Old Path. It was created by Sylvia Gainsford and Howard Rodway with the help of eight ‘witches’ based on the traditions of the Wicca Path.
The images are fantasy inspired and the design incorporates much herbal and floral symbolism. The entire background of the card is full of symbolism, and one has to watch for their meanings.
The booklet that accompanies the Tarot of The Old Path shows one layout, the celtic cross, as well as interpretations.
All in all, a modern approach to what is known as the magickal Old Religion, the Craft, or the Old Path of female wisdom.
