The five-pointed star in the Gemstone Elemental Pentacle Pendant represents the five natural elements of earth, air, fire, water and ether and the circle signifies the totality of existence; it is the most famous of all magical symbols.
Each of elements has an associated crystal:
Ether – amethyst, the stone with high spiritual vibration, extremely powerful and protective, which used at a higher level, opens to another reality
Earth – garnet, the regenerating stone, revitalises, purifies and balances energy; in the past it was believed that it has the capabilities of warning of approaching danger and it was carried as a protective talisman
Water – moonstone, the stone of new beginnings which has strong connections with the moon and it is believed that it improves emotional intelligence and also to enhance psychic abilities
Fire – carnelian, a stimulating stone for inquisitiveness and initiative
Air – peridot, the protective stone for the aura, it is believed to keep away evil spirits
The centre of the pentacle is decorated with the symbol of Yin and Yang, which is 1000 years old and it represents duality as the dynamic force in the cosmos, yet, at the same time of perfect balance. The two elements of the symbol can be interpreted in a variety of ways: shadow and sun, earth and heaven, intuition and reason, obscurity and illumination.
The pendant is reversible, with the Yin Yang symbol mirrored on the back of the pendant.
The sterling silver Gemstone Elemental Pentacle Pendant measures 30mm diameter, weighs 5 grams and the stones are embedded in silver settings, with the underside of the stone left uncovered, so they catch the light reflections. The pendant is presented in an attractive gift box.
