The Amethyst standing points can be used for meditation, being excellent in conducting the energy of calm and peacefulness to help one to enter and maintain the state. Also known as ‘the meditation stone’, amethyst opens and activates the crown chakra.
In "The Crystal Bible", Judy Hall describes Amethyst as having some of the following attributes:
"Amethyst is an extremely powerful and protective stone with a high spiritual vibration. These large polished amethyst standing points from Bolivia measure 8cm tall. They have a diameter of 7cm and weigh around 500g, but each one is unique. They are shaped with six facets, which equate to the six chakras from the base to the third eye, with the termination point representing the crown chakra and its link with the infinite and their internal structure is really beautiful. Some of them contain rainbows, which are indicative of joy and happiness.
