The Seelie Court is the traditional name for good spirits. Seelie means 'blessed' or 'holy', and this type of Fairy is very king towards mortals. They are graceful & beautiful creatures that reward help and friendliness towards their kind with Fairy favours. Good natured and friendly, the Seelie Court are the aristocrats of the Fairy world. The Seelie Court is made up of the most heroic and helpful Fairies, who ride the winds at night looking for opportunities to perform good deeds and acts of kindness to mortals.
The Fairies of the Seelie Court are royal fairies with important duties. Only the bravest, most magical and kindest of Fairy belong to the Court. Of the different types of Fairy in the Seelie Court, it is hard to say who is the most magical or beautiful.
