Winged Isis Statue depicting the Egyptian Goddess of Nature. Handmade, beautifully detailed in highly polished bronze resin, hand painted in blue, burgundy and green. The statue is presented in a bespoke box.
One of the major Goddesses of Egyptian Mythology, Isis had magical powers and was one of the nine Gods of the Ennead council of deities. Being a fertility and magic Goddess, she was one of the most popular of the Egyptian Goddesses.
Isis was the consort of God Osiris and mother of Horus. After Osiris was dismembered by his brother Seth, Isis searched for the missing parts of his body and magically reassembled it. Osiris travelled to afterlife afterwards, and Isis gave birth to their son Horus. Isis raised Horus in secret, and when he grew up, the revenged his father's death by killing Sith.
