The sterling silver Fire Dragon Pendant designed by Courtney Davis, the most recognisable name in Celtic Art, it is a resurrection of a beautiful art form, bought forth into the present by a master artist.
The dragon is more dangerously equipped than any of his mythical rivals. The forked tongue and tail, the glaring eyes and threateningly flared nostrils, the scorching breath, the sharp teeth and talons, and the armour-plated body add up to a formidable array of weapons. The dragon rather than always being seen as hostile to man can sometimes symbolise the portent of prosperity and in the East there are many tales of individual acts of kindness performed by dragons for the benefit of men. Fire is symbolic of transformation, regeneration and spiritual energy.
